A pilot program was launched in 2000, in Sarajevo where art therapy-based workshops were conducted for teachers from this region. During the next four years the Foundation continued its mission by offering training programs to educators in and around the communities of Gorazde, Tuzla (2002 and 2003) and Brcko District.

In 2002, a new train-the-trainers model was initiated. By 2004, the fifth year of the program, over 500 teachers, administrators and healthcare professionals had been introduced to the ArtReach methodology.

ArtReach training continues today through the efforts of a cadre of Bosnian trainers dedicated to this program in education.
